Afternoon highs today up into the low 70s we will go. 74 Prince Georges County. 71 in bowie today. 75 in fairfax. Tomorrow just a little warmer. A hint of humidity tomorrow. Mother nature take it easy on us this Holiday Weekend from a weather perspective. High pressure is built in. Its off to an almost chilly start first thing this morning. Heres our nearby neighbor. The Washington National cathedral. Early morning sunshine already out there. Sun came up almost ten minutes ago before 6 00 a. M. And boy is it chilly. 41 in gaithersburg in frederick right now. Mid50s around downtown. Low 50s alongside the chesapeake bay. A quick warmup coming our way. Mid50s by 9 00 a. M. Mid60s by 11 00 a. M. Out and about this afternoon, if you find something to complain about with a day like this there may be something wrong with you. Sunshine and temperatures in the low 70s for today. And another clear, quiet, cool night coming up as well. Tomorrow looks even nicer as well. And then well Start Talking ....

Imagine youre on your way to work you pull onto the highway. You come to an abrupt stop and all you can see is a sea of brake lights. So you sit there. And you sit there. And you sit there. Thats what it was like for drivers here on southbound 95. This man said he missed three meetings. What was it like down here . It was brutal. Brutal.
