Magwood said the Magwood family has been in Bentinck Township since 1886, and their home front property sits on the eastern boundary of the Town of Hanover.
“Our family has actually been here longer than the Town of Hanover, since it was only formed in 1904,” Magwood said to West Grey council. “The name Magwood Family Farms is not named by accident, it is truly who we are. My brothers, sister and myself represent the fourth generation of Magwoods who own and farm on the original 250-acres.”
