Good evening, everyone. i m erin burnett. we begin with the breaking news. cnn tonight obtained an irs internal report that shows the agency targeted conservative groups. the report reads, i just want to quote it here, the irs used inappropriate criteria that identified for review tea party and other organizations applying for tax-exempt status based upon their names or policy positions. the report also said the agency delayed processing those groups applications and requested unnecessary information. earlier today, attorney general holder said the justice department has launched a criminal investigation in to the matter but this scandal is just one of many plaguing the white house tonight. jim akosta reports from washington. reporter: over at the white house, there isn t much talk of harry truman these days and the ....
