((patranya bhoolsuwan)) today, we went to an address listed for black. our knocks at the door went unanswered although there were people inside. as for information about him. we don t know much. we couldn t find a criminal history or online profiles that might shed light on friday s incident. as for the officer, police say it was 45 year old george smith with metro s tourist safety division who fired the shot on the sidewalks near the bellagio fountains on friday night. this as authorities were trying to get to black who they say was walking around waving what appeared to be a gun at people on the strip. in the moments leading to the arrest, officer smith, fired the shot that grazed a child and went through another man s clothing. the child s injuries were not major and they were released from u-m-c that night. we talked to a woman, who told while working nearby that night: ((marie rios/busker:
