How did this happen? you re a pilot, that s what a lot of people are questioning and asking today, how did a young child get in the jfk tower, whose son was potentially that child, a son of one of the controllers there, but clearly he is heard on those tapes, reportedly made two weeks ago today, which would put it february 17th. that was a day during president s week when many new york city schools were without and new york area schools were on vacation so that s why perhaps that parent controller said it s what they get when the kids are out of school. that young man was directing flight 171, jfk, to sacramento and aero mexico 533 which flies to mexico city at 5:50 p.m. there is obviously an investigation of why it happened, how did it happen, who did it and what were they thinking. jon: yeah, i can imagine. what s the reaction? a lot of reaction. the faa clearly investigating, saying this behavior is unacceptable. i talked to a retired jfk ....
