OCEAN CITY, NJ Ocean City s annual beach cleanup has been canceled this spring due to outdoor capacity limitations.
Due to the popularity of Ocean City s spring beach cleanup event and the 50-person limit on outdoor gatherings, Ocean City will not participate in the Clean Ocean Action Spring Beach Sweeps this spring, said Mayor Jay Gillian in a news release.
Officials have canceled other large events in recent weeks due to crowd limitations including the Doo Dah Parade and the Spring Block Party. ....
