As the COVID-19 pandemic drags into a second year, colleges and universities have weighed the risks of in-person graduation ceremonies against the disappointment of college seniors who want their hard work celebrated. Many Florida colleges and universities have decided to go ahead with plans for in-person graduations and designed ceremonies allowing for increased sanitation and social distancing. Others, including the Florida Institute of Technology, will forgo the traditional celebrations for digital alternatives.
