for covid-19. out of the 35 residents, six have passed away. there is a surge of people who tested positive for the virus at the east bay post acute facility. we believe that is in castro valley. 17 staff there and 9 residents tested positive. no one at that facility has died. but back here in hayward, we spoke with a man outside who is concerned about his grandmother. she has lived at this facility for two years. i was able to go up to the window. she was there. she s good. she s good. but just a little upset that no one called us from the family. we have to find out from a news alert. and evidently they re still not talking to anybody. you know, i just want to know what s going on, who is in charge here. and make sure that my grandmother and the other residents are will be. reporter: well, some people out there may recognize him. he just happens to be a city council member in union city. information is not complete at this time. we don t know when the residents tested p
