Eric thomas has the night off. The collision happened this morning on interstate 10 near palm springs. 13 people were killed including the bus driver and 31 others were hurt. The bus was traveling toward los angeles from a casino and was about an hour into the trip. Abc news president arer abc News Reporter has the latest. Reporter the tour bus crashed into the semitrucks trailer on this desert highway near palm springs 100 miles from los angeles. The force of the collision is plain to see in the mangled wreckage.
