Jesse kirsh is following it now from minneapolis this is far from over. reporter: yeah, lester. the snow we re seeing here in the twin cities is part of the same storm that hit california days ago it already swept across multiple states tonight, it s still trekking east reporter: the cross country storm already paralyzing nebraska roads, drivers stranded in whiteout conditions almost two feet of snow in some areas in colorado, semitrucks piling up on treacherous highways this trailer ripped in half among numerous crashes but thankfully no injuries have been reported further south, a tornado ripping through columbia county, arkansas, tearing down power lines and tonight amid all that damage 12 million are still under winter alerts from the midwest to new england because of the same storm that slammed california earlier this week it s kind of wet, sloppy stuff. reporter: snow falling throughout the day in the twin cities ....
