This is north of allentown, for the more significant rain falling. Poconos should see more rain than anybody else. Over the next couple of hours, showers actually diminish somewhat, generally on the lighter side, were not expe expecting thunderstorms, certainly not any flood threat or anything like that. Reporter the first person to be diagnosed with ebola on u. S. Soil has died. Thomas eric duncan died this morning at Texas Health Presbyterian hospital where hed been in isolation since last week. It under scores why the president has made it a priority to stop the spread of this disease at the source. Reporter duncan originally contracted the virus in liberia. The 42 year old did not show any symptoms when he left for the u. S. , but fell ill several days later. Dozens of people at risk of being infected by duncan are being monitored for 21 days. The Texas Department of health says well continue every effort to contain the spread of the virus and protect people from this threat. Ebola has killed more than 3400 people in west africa.
