William Bennett “Bill” Russ, 77, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Bill was born on August 22, 1944, in Austin, Texas. He was the oldest of two sons born to Jimmie B. and Cleola M. Russ. He graduated from McCallum High School (Austin) and attended the University of Texas. Bill transferred to Texas A&M University where he received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Wildlife Science. He was a member of Alpha Zeta honors fraternity at Texas A&M. He Married Cindy Lynn Montz on June 3, 1967, in Austin.  ....
