County Hears 911 Equipment Timeline, Generator Grant Award


JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A lack of necessary parts and COVID-19 has set back the 911 equipment replacement timeline in Stutsman County.
Stutsman County 911 Coordinator and Emergency Manager Jerry Berquist informed the Stutsman County Commission Tuesday they originally planned to have equipment replaced by June 28th and switch over to the new equipment by the end of July.
With the delays, Bergquist says this changes their timeline. ....

Bravo to the Anne Carlsen Center, which was among the top fundraisers in its category for Giving Hearts Day in 2021, according to Dakota Medical Foundation, which hosts the events with the Impact Foundation and the Alex Stern Family Foundation. ACC was in the large-budget category and ranked in the top five of fundraisers in that category. The amount raised by entities has not been announced.
Bravo to the Jamestown High School girls basketball team for making it to the state tournament this week. The Blue Jays defeated Mandan 66-53 to advance to the tournament. ....
