A DECISION to remove a roadblock from a Jericho road is due today, after more than a year of discussion about what should replace it.
The Walton Street barrier, erected in 2019, is likely to be removed after an official decision this week.
Yvonne Constance, Oxfordshire County Council s cabinet member for transport and the environment, is due to decide its future today (April 29).
She is recommended by council road experts to get rid of the barrier and restore the road back to normal.
But the decision comes after months of discussions between different residents and business groups in Jericho, many of whom favoured replacing the barrier with some kind of traffic calming measures. ....
