PETALING JAYA: With speculation that the Umno supreme council will meet today, the main question being asked is whether party leaders will push for Umno to exit the Perikatan Nasional government despite the earlier failed attempts. Sources said there was a possibility that the planned supreme council meeting might be called off after last night’s meeting between Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and representatives of the party’s MPs who insisted on remaining with the government for the time being.
