Jeon Ray Ji-Won has parted ways with Rainbow7. The South Korean top laner changed the spelling of his tag to Rey when joining the Liga Latinoamérica organization, which in Spanish, translates to sea , but has seemingly reverted to his tag s original spelling upon parting ways with R7.
After attending the 2020 League of Legends World Championship, Rainbow7 gained global recognition for its talent, particularly in the form of jungler Brandon Joel Josedeodo Villegas. Changes were made before the 2021 LLA Opening with Josedeodo s departure, and Ray was signed as the team s new top laner after a brief stint with KT Rolster in the 2020 League of Legends Champions Korea Spring Split.
