Community can watch 'Hearts of Glass' free


JenTen Productions is providing free streaming of the “Hearts of Glass” documentary film to the greater Teton community now through April 17.
The hourlong film captures the beginnings of Vertical Harvest, which co-founder Nona Yehia describes as a “for-profit business with a nonprofit soul” in the film.
The hydroponic greenhouse in downtown Jackson not only grows food but also provides meaningful employment for people with disabilities. The film weaves the story of the project’s first 15 months of operation with the personal journeys of employees.
Since its premiere at the 2019 Wild and Scenic Film Festival, the documentary has graced the screens of film festivals across the nation and has been picked up by PBS on its public broadcast stations. Awards include the 2020 American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities’ Media Award and the Best Feature Documentary at the 2019 Black Hills Film Festival. ....
