In celebration of International Women s Day and in recognition of the remarkable achievements of women, the Carson City Chamber of Commerce honored Tasha Fuson, associate superintendent for educational services for the Carson City School District, as the “Esteemed Educator” during their “Women of Distinction” meeting Friday, March 8.
Carson City s newest restaurant and bar, Piazza Bar, is open for business on McFadden Plaza in Carson City. The eatery is located in the former Bella Fiore location, and is offering Italian cuisine such as salads, pizza, small plates and sharable platters. The menu also boasts a number of custom cocktails.
