Smith, Jenny Kate Friday, March 12, 2021 Jenny Smith Jenny Kate Smith, 79, of Chattanooga, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 11, 2021 She was preceded in death by her parents; Millard B. Chase and Eloise Fitzgerald; and also her brother, Burke Chase. Jenny is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Jerry D. Smith; her children, Denise (Greg) Evans and Victor (Sue) Smith; and her grandchildren, Aubrey Smith, Garrett Smith, Riley Evans, and Shelby Evans. Jenny was born in Cleveland, Tn., and graduated from Bradley Central High School. She studied and graduated from Erlanger Nursing School as a registered nurse. Jenny worked at Erlanger and was a much beloved nurse at Tyner Junior High School. She became the Assistant Nursing Director at Life Care of Collegedale and Hamilton County Nursing Home. Jenny worked, until her retirement, as Director of Nursing at NHC Rossville. ....
