Only three days after announcing that they would close indefinitely, Meadville Community Soup Kitchen is preparing to reopen its doors on Wednesday.
Elaine Burkholder, the soup kitchen’s president, said in an email to the Tribune on Monday that the soup kitchen will be able to remain open under new COVID-19 guidelines issued by Gov. Tom Wolf on Dec. 10. The guidelines forbid indoor dining at restaurants and impose restrictions on indoor gatherings. ....
