A nightmare neighbour threatened to poison an elderly woman s dog, sprayed a man with a hosepipe and intimidated a family with a fog horn and a powerful torch.
David Wignall, nicknamed Dave the Drain because he runs a business unblocking drains, has avoided jail but is banned from talking to his petrified neighbours in genteel cul-de-sac Denton, Greater Manchester.
Manchester Crown Court heard that Wignall told a pensioner to just f ing die you old b d and threatened to poison her dog because it kept barking loudly.
The 52-year-old also banged wheelie bins against other people s cars if they were parked next to his driveway, and threatened to burn down his neighbours house during a terrifying campaign of harassment. ....
