New Sauk Rapids summer concert series performer lineup announced

SAUK RAPIDS The City of Sauk Rapids has announced the lineup for 10 weeks of music at Sauk Rapids new Southside Park.
The new music series, called Rock the Riverside, will start July 1 and conclude Sept. 2. Each Thursday night performance will feature an hour-long opening act, then a 2 1/2-hour headliner performance.
Here s the lineup, as published in the city s summer newsletter:
July 1: Paul Diethelm - Stretch opening, Strange Daze headlining
July 8: Todd Michael Jameson opening, Arena headlining
July 15: Jen Lamb-Randolph and Jim Anderson opening, Pandemic headlining
July 22: Tony Williams opening, Shane Martin headlining

Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota
(KNSI) – An online competition will show off some of the most talented musicians in the area and raise money for charities.
The Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota will hold the third annual Central MN Idol online on March 28 at 7:30 pm.
Audience members will vote for the winner through donations. The donations will be split equally between the Youth Chorale and the charity. The event is free to watch.
The performers and their charities are:
Justin Ploof competing for Owen’s Night Out, Jeff Engholm competing for
Tri-County Humane Society, Jen Lamb-Randolph competing for The Beautiful Mind Project, and Aksel Krafnick competing for Anna Marie’s Alliance.
