“Catching Omicron seems akin to catching the Key West Crud: exceedingly unpleasant and inconvenient but rarely deadly. Start focusing on hospitalization and death instead of number of cases and positivity.
rich that republican members who were calling for him to be tried for treason or certainly to force him to resign, where were they for the past jeer? donald trump made a deal that the military said was a bad deal because they wouldn t be able to sustain the afghan military. the afghan military lost morale when tsaw that the united state was committed to leaving. where were the republicans then? i didn t hear any of them call for the change in the policy. in fact, i don t think any of them have any standing to call for the chairman s resignation. those individuals who failed to stop, to step up and criticize the president for leading an insurrection against the country, that s what their obligation was. where was their loyalty at this point to get to the truth? so i think it s a situation where i think that the chairman said exactly what needed to be said.
was mocked at a school board meeting after he described how his grandmother died from covid. in a video posted online, a woman behind the student laughs, and others in the audience seem to engineer. jeer. i m worried about my family. if i get covid, i m going to bring it to my family. i talk to my grandparents a lot. they re higher risk than me, so i don t want to give them covid. this time last year my grandmother who was a former teacher at the rutherford county school system died of covid because someone wasn t wearing a mask. this is a very this is a very shut up. this is shut up. hey, guys. we re here to act professional. please, go ahead. thank you. this is an avoidable issue, and by not wearing masks in schools,
Editor: Iâm writing to commend your recent âjeersâ comment about our legislatorsâ non-accountable expense plan. I really wish someone would do an investigation into this. I am a tax accountant and the IRS code states that the reimbursement for a non-accountable plan must be reported as income on their tax return â I wonder if this is being done for those representatives that have $1.4 million in expenses, using taxpayerâs money? And if not, why are they above the law?
Iâm thinking of all the places that money would be better spent: our education system, grants for small businesses, healthcare for those that work and donât have it or canât afford their employerâs plan, improving our infrastructure, building up recreational places and programs to attract people outdoors, funding for organizations like the YMCA and other community centers to aid in affordable daycare for working parent. Iâm sure there are many more.
