Good Samaritan loses his car
Man who offers three strangers a ride at 3 a.m. Thursday watches in apparent amazement as one of the three drives off in his vehicle.
The driver of a 2013 Chevrolet offered three subjects a ride, but needed air in his tires. When the victim got out of his car to fill up the tires, one of the three riders drove off with the vehicle. This among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Asbury at Davis
A man who offered a ride to three unknown subjects at Asbury Avenue and Davis Street at about 3 a.m. Thursday was “rewarded” by a theft of his 2013 Chevrolet Equinox when one of the riders drove off in the vehicle while the owner was filling the tires with air.
