Client care during the pandemic has been a top priority for Mental Health Connections (MHC), which had to close its doors and transition from in-person to online programming and wellness calls due to safety concerns for its 800-plus clients and staff.
MHC, established in 2004, endeavours to maximize the growth and potential of persons with mental health and addiction issues.
In the beginning, there was an impression that COVID-19 would be short-lived. However, stay-at-home orders and lockdowns have meant added anxiety for those longing to return to customary routines and activities.
