ESCANABA Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic more than one year ago, the support and generosity of the local community to local healthcare workers has not only been inspiring but continuous.
Last spring as stay at home orders were introduced and personal protective equipment (PPE) was in short supply, the United Way of Delta County and the Community Foundation for Delta County each granted $5,000 to the OSF HealthCare Foundation to provide additional PPE to health care workers as part of its COVID-19 relief efforts. At the same time, members of the community started sewing and helped to donate hundreds of homemade masks as well. Also, for the better part of a year, there have been many ....

OSF Lights of Love Campaign underway | News, Sports, Jobs

ESCANABA The glowing tradition of the OSF HealthCare St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary annual “Lights of Love” campaign is now accepting commemorative recognitions through December 31.
The lights adorn the set of trees along U.S. Highway 2 & 41 near the entrance to the hospital campus and shine throughout the Christmas Season, representing gifts of honor and recognition.
The cost of each light is $5 and can be purchased online at osfstfrancis.org/lights. Envelopes are also available at the OSF St. Francis Hospital front desk and Elmer’s County Market in Escanaba. For additional information, please contact Jean Arvan at (906) 786-5707, extension 5516.
