Jazz House Kids Norman Simmons, a pianist, composer, arranger and educator whose multidimensional jazz career featured a series of high-profile associations with singers like Carmen McRae, Betty Carter, Joe Williams and Anita O’Day died on Thursday in Mesa, Ariz.
