ZAMBOANGA CITY, Jan 12 (PIA) – The Zamboanga City Government continues its commitment in prioritizing the health of residents by preparing for the COVID-19 vaccinations.
Recently, Mayor Beng Climaco signed the Multilateral Agreement with AstraZeneca for the purchase of 410,000 doses of vaccines intended for 205,000 residents of Zamboanga City in the amount of 2.050 million USD, equivalent to P100 million pesos, as part of the City’s vaccination program against Covid19.
Moreover, the remaining P100M from the total P200M allocated for the purchase of anti-COVID-19 vaccines will be used for other vaccine brands. The city’s vaccination program will cover 694,696 or 70% of the projected 2021 population of 992,423 inhabitants. ....
