Former Assemblymember Mariko Yamada (D-Davis) posted these photos on May 4 with the following message: “There was another small visitor this morning when I arrived to clean the gravesite of Thong Hy Huynh. On this day 38 years ago, Thong was killed in a racially motivated knife attack on the campus of Davis High School. He was 17 The horrific rise in anti-Asian violence is deeply rooted.
