Cincy Bar Owner Thriving After Calling for LeBron James' Expulsion from NBA

The Cincinnati bar owner who refused to show NBA games until the NBA expels LeBron James from the league says the positive reactions to his campaign have far outweighed the negatives.
On Sunday, Jay Linneman, the owner of Linnie’s Pub, decided to boycott NBA games after James tweeted a pic of a police officer present at the Ma’Khia Bryant shooting with a caption that read, “YOU’RE NEXT.”
“If anyone wants to watch an NBA game, don’t come to Linnie’s Pub,” owner Jay Linneman said.
“We will not air them until LeBron James has been expelled from the NBA. They just need to play the game, and that’s it,” Linneman said. “Their opinion doesn’t really matter. They’re using their position to push their opinions, and that’s just not right.” ....

LeBron James Responds to Bar Owner Who Refuses to Air NBA Games – NBC4 Washington


In response to that post, the bar’s owner Jay Linneman said that NBA games would no longer be aired until James was ousted from the league:
“If anyone wants to watch an NBA game, don’t come to Linnie’s Pub,” the post read. “We will not air them until LeBron James has been expelled from the NBA.”
The bar’s owner told reporters that James and other NBA players “need to play the game and that’s it,” and that his remarks were overly inflammatory.
“They’re using their position to push their opinions, and that’s just not right,” he told USA Today. ....

Ohio pub busier than EVER after owner bans NBA games until Lebron kicked out of league


Lebron has so many people upset over his ridiculous comments and tweets about a justified shooting in Columbus, Ohio, that a pub owner, who banned all NBA games from airing in his establishment until Lebron is kicked out of the league is doing more business than ever:
DC EXAMINER – An Ohio pub owner who banned airing NBA games in his establishment until LeBron James is “expelled” from the league said he has received positive feedback and more customers since the announcement.
“The support for the position has been overwhelmingly positive and has far outweighed the negatives,” Jay Linneman, the owner of Linnie’s Pub, said. “I hope people channel the support to law enforcement and not necessarily to Linnie’s Pub.” ....

In a second post, James wrote, “I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police. I took the tweet down because its being used to create more hate -This isn’t about one officer. it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY.”  ....
