Treneil McNeal, already sentenced to 40 years in prison for his role in the 2021 murder, has been sentenced to 45 years for shooting at Denver police officers who were trying to serve an arrest warrant for the 2021 shooting.
Treniel McNeal was accused of providing a gun to another man just before that man fatally shot Gregory Hopkins outside Coors Field, according to Denver Police.
Treneil McNeal of Aurora was sentenced to 40 years in prison for second-degree murder after he provided a handgun used to kill a man outside of Coors Field in August 2021.
Jeremiah Kendrick and Treniel McNeal are each charged in separate homicides in Denver. They were indicted in April for a fatal shooting on Archer Place in Aurora.
