Garage Bar & Grill co-owner and operator Kevin Farhat and Third Coast Development partners Brad Rosely, Max Benedict and David Levitt who co-own the Garage Bar with Farhat said Tuesday that they are planning to open a new location at 518 Ada Drive SE this fall. “We are excited to bring the popular Garage Bar & Grill concept to Ada,” Farhat said. “We have great friends from the Ada area who frequent our downtown Grand Rapids location, and we know there is great energy in expanding the dining and nightlife in the Ada Village area, so we can’t wait to open our garage doors and get involved.”

Grand Rapids Business Journal A local church building has changed hands. The Well Church will be moving from a shopping center in Kentwood, at 4488 Breton Rd. SE, to the former Millbrook Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, at 3661 Poinsettia Ave. SE, to expand its operations, according to NAI Wisinski of West Michigan. Minor renovations will be made to the space, including updating the sound system and lighting, as well as modernizing the lobby and sanctuary. “We are looking forward to expanding and continuing the vision that God has given us to bring a positive impact into our community by offering life-skill workshops, along with our regular services, conferences, family ministries and community groups,” said Kathy El-Ali, founder and senior leader, The Well Church.
