Senator Marc Pacheco has announced a new round of grant funding for small businesses impacted by covid-19.
In Wareham, five businesses received grants: Kaleidoscope of Dance and Gymnastics received $70,000, E.L. Morse Lumber received $75,000, artist and jewelry-maker Jasmine Keane received $10,000 and Beaver Dam Partners, the publisher of Wareham, Dartmouth, and Sippican Week newspapers, received $75,000.
Over $1.2 million in funding was dispersed in this round of grants to businesses across the 1st Plymouth and Bristol District, which includes Marion, Bridgewater, Carver, Middleborough, Raynham, Taunton and Wareham. Rochester and Mattapoisett are part of the 1st and 2nd Bristol and Plymouth districts, respectively.

These awards to businesses in Bridgewater, Carver, Marion, Middleborough, Raynham, Taunton and Wareham, come in addition to a total of $1.8 million given to 31 local businesses in the 1st Plymouth and Bristol District over the past several weeks of COVID-19 Small Business Grant Program awards administered by the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation.

BOSTON – Five Wareham businesses and two Marion businesses are receiving COVID-19 Small Business Grants.
Sen. Marc R. Pacheco, D-Taunton, announced that 22 businesses in all in the 1st Plymouth & Bristol district have been selected to receive a total of $1,210,000 through the COVID-19 Small Business Grant Program.
