Vard Group A/S has selected iXblue technology to provide navigation capabilities to the Norwegian Coast Guard’s new P6615 Jan Mayen class vessels. The company’s Marins Series Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), Quadrans Gyrocompasses and Netans Navigation Data Distribution & Computation Systems (NDDCS) will thus equip the new series of vessels expected to be delivered in 2022 -2024.

A Product Definition Phase for the Mid-Life Upgrades (MLU) of five Visby-class corvettes, as well as a Product Definition Phase for the next generation; Visby Generation 2 corvettes.

On January 23, 2021, Turkey has held the official welding ceremony of the third MILGEM class corvette for the Pakistani Navy at Istanbul Naval Shipyard (INSY), Turkey.
