KUALA LUMPUR, May 30 The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will close its offices and service counters nationwide from June 1-14, 2021, in line with the implementation of the first phase of a total lockdown during the period.
Accordingly, all prior Janji Temu Online (JTO) appointments are cancelled with immediate effect, it said in a statement today.
“Members are required to reschedule their visits to a later date via the JTO facility after the total lockdown period is over, if there is a need to be present at EPF branches in person. ....

KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) announced on Sunday all its offices and service counters nationwide will be closed during the “total lockdown” phase one from June 1 to 14.
It said this was in line with the government’s decision to enforce the “total lockdown” during this period to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.

RM18.1 billion i-Lestari withdrawal to date-EPF

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) said to date, a total of RM18.1 billion has been withdrawn by 5.16 million members under the i-Lestari facility, which was among the immediate measures undertaken by the fund amid the challenging situation in 2020 due to the pandemic.
It stepped in to help members and employers cope with cash flow issues following the Movement Control Order from March 18 to May 12, 2020 when most economic sectors were closed.
“The EPF was one of the first pension funds in the world to provide assistance to its members during the pandemic, by rolling out the hassle-free i-Lestari Account 2 Withdrawal Scheme to provide members with some measures of financial relief,” its Chairman, Tan Sri Ahmad Badri Mohd Zahir said in a statement on Saturday. ....
