Danielle yes, it does feel like spring as temperatures are starting to warm up. Thats why the precipitation were seeing is mostly in the form of rain at this point although it is still cold in the upper atmosphere. Some of our stations are reporting some snow at this point. Want to show you whats going on. You notice on the cape, preliminary u, points south, temperatures in the low 40s. Its just a bunch of light rain there. As you look back to the west, say, Worcester County into the worcester hills and into orange, where your borderline temperatures are reporting actually snow but because the road surfaces are so warm, its not really sticking. There are some good things in the forecast today. Doug yes, indeed. It starts with danielle. Danielle thank, doug and karen. Well take that. Well take the warmup thats ahead for the day today. We have to get through a couple more showers this morning. Had some come through overnight in the form of snow and then turning over to rain. Now most of these are actually just plain old rain showers because the temperatures are beginning to warm up especially the cape and the islands. Already in the mid 40s on nantucket. This is just plain old rain for you folks there. The only exception is maybe wet snow flakes mixing in maybe up through the worcester hills near orange, near fitchburg and then out in western mass near pittsfield and the berkshires as youre in the mid 30s.
