PARKERSBURG The Women’s Care Center marked 30 years of providing education and care to women facing unexpected pregnancies Sunday with the return of one of its biggest fundraisers.

PARKERSBURG The Women’s Care Center in Parkersburg will hold its 25th annual Walk for Life on Sunday at City Park.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. in the large picnic shelter next to the Henry Cooper Log Cabin Museum. Music will be provided by the Liberty Street Church of God Praise Team.
Opening ceremonies begin at 1:15 p.m. with the 2-mile walk immediately following. Walkers obtain financial pledges prior to Walk day with nearly 300 individuals coming together on Sunday to celebrate life.
All donations that are raised will be used by Women’s Care Center, a local non-profit and faith-based organization that empowers women and teens to make healthy life choices.
