back in the u.s., the secretary of homeland security, j johnson has been briefed. what do we know about how fast the truck may have been going? also, the length that the truck traveled. we were talking in the newsroom that the truck kept on going and going. reporter: witnesses say that the truck was going 25-30 miles per hour over a distance of 2 km. when you see these horrific images on social media of bodies strewn in the roadway, it seems to go on and on. it looked like a battlefield. are we hearing anything about the driver? was the driver shot and killed inside the truck or in the exchange of gunfire with authorities who were eventually on the scene. there have been no reports of other people involved in the attack.. it seems to indicate there was a greater plot here. monte, it is heartbreaking when you read them witness accounts. one witness said there were massive accounts and people lying everywhere with their bodies on the ground and they were injured or wo
