A lawsuit brought by Cheryl Peaslee claims town officials could prevent recall vote by calling for a town vote on rescinding its recall ordinance, which officials deny.
With a petition to recall one of the town's three selectmen in limbo for weeks, town officials have scheduled a Feb. 22 public hearing on whether to change the town's recall ordinance or eliminate it and follow state law instead.
