Jeddah OFWs who lost jobs amid the pandemic still stranded after a month

Several OFWs in Jeddah who have lost their jobs amid the COVID-19 pandemic are still stranded in Saudi Arabia, according to Jamie Santos’ “24 Oras Weekend” report.
According to Rene Florendo Marasigan, they still haven’t gotten a concrete answer from their agency and the government on when they will be able to go home.
He added that their situation had worsened the month since they first sought help as they still had no income and they still very much wanted to go home.
“We want to go home to our families instead of hoping for nothing,” Joshua Conselo said. ....
