Apr 21, 2021 Carl R. Myers Jr.., 60, of Sherman, N.Y., passed away at 2:20 p.m., Sunday, April 18, 2021, in UPMC Chautauqua, following a brief illness. A lifelong area resident, he was born July 31, 1960 in Jamestown, N.Y., a son of Carl R. and Carol Sue Champlin Myers, Sr. Carl was a 1979 graduate of Jamestown High School. He was currently employed as a custodian for the Jamestown Public School System and had earlier worked for the former H&H Metal Specialty for 20 years. He will be remembered as one who loved playing softball, bowling, playing in the pool league, and throwing horseshoes with his father. He was also known as the family “master corn hole player”. His kids were most important to him and he loved attending their sporting events and other activities.
