LOS ANGELES (AP) An oil company sued the city of Los Angeles Tuesday over its recent law to ban the drilling of new oil and gas wells and to phase out existing ones within city limits over the next two decades.
Warren Resources on Tuesday sued the city of L.A. over its oil drilling ban, saying it will result in the company's "complete shutdown." Four other oil entities also sued.
A company dedicated to extracting oil in the Los Angeles area filed a lawsuit against the city’s new law banning the drilling of new oil and gas wells.
