CORONAVIRUS: Covid-19 in Cumbria
CONFIRMED cases of the Indian Variant of coronavirus were revealed yesterday as the most recent lockdown easing came into place.
Cumbria’s director of public health has said that there were a ‘small number’ of cases of the variant in the region, according to data revealed yesterday morning.
The cases have been located in South Lakeland but no further information has yet become available.
Helen Bach said: “Remember back on the April 28 when we were told by the Government that France was having a four-week Lockdown as it was so bad there (deaths & cases peaked April 17)? Remember when the experts and 3rd rate politicians told us it was it was only a matter of time as we’re always 2 weeks behind the continent? Well 20 days later we’re still flat at around 33 million positive test results.” ....
