36-year-old james lyons of woburn. that s who police say pulled the knife and almost killed a man before taking off on a motorcycle. but he didn t get too far because woburn police arrested him right here in town today thanks to what they say is help from the internet and some good old-fashioned police work. within 18 hours we were able to identify, locate and arrest this individual. reporter: woburn police began investigating immediately after responding to a stabbing outside jake and joe s around life-threatening injuries. reporter: chief says the stabbing was caught on camera and the video showed a slowingo on the suspect james lyons shirt so dts looked up the company and found an employee photo matching the one they tracked him down andard him at a people in woburn today. this is normal for us that s a good thing. when something like this seriously and we aggressively go after it using whatever resources we can. reporter: now what they re working on is a motive.
