reporter: good news, matt and tam, we have to tell you this is not a done deal yet. both parties have come to an agreement, but nothing has been signed just yet. we can tell you within the hour, rather, the chairman arrived at septa headquarters, he arrives when it s time to sign the final agreement. the talks between the union and septa had to be halted overnight because the power went out in the sheraton headlights where they were holding the negotiations. both sides went to their respective headquarters and mediator went back and forth and they were able to make progress. septa said union members have to pay $120 more a month for healthcare. the chairman would not giving specifics to us this morning, but he would say that they needed to go to the union and both sign before staying that this agreement is done. i think we have agreement in principle, without dwight evans, i think we would probably be sitting around. dwight was a catylist in getting this done, our jobs on

sigh of relief that the deal is done. we re at local 234 where septa leaders came to talk to union leaders they finally agreed to an agreement. i want you to take a listen to the chairman about what he had to say during a press conference they held a few minutes ago. we pleased to announce an agreement with local 234, this will end the strike city transit division will be phased back in today. we believe the agreement is fair to all employees and customers and taxpayers. we know the strike has caused hardship for thousands of our riders and we regret this disruption. reporter: now, the tentative five year contract would put 4700 employees back to work. both sides of leaders would not release details. the union members have to vote on the contract. septa said that this deal provides for wage increases, pension improvements and maintains healthcare coverage levels while addressing costs. septa said they stayed within there budget and no new money came into the deal. they wi
