The Boone/Newton County Retired Teachers and Support Staff Association met at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 3, in the meeting room at Western Sizzlin’ Restaurant in Harrison. Members enjoyed eating together and visiting before the meeting was called to order by President, Lisa Bailey, who welcomed the members, guests, and first-time attendees, before leading the invocation. Ellen Corley led the Pledge of Allegiance. Guest speaker, James Burrus, presented a program on elder law and estate planning.
