It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Alfeo Bortolon on May 6, 2021.
The life of any party, Jamie enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and camping with the Arrow Lake crew. His career as a truck and coach mechanic left a lasting impression on co-workers and customers, most recently at Erb Group. Jamie brought happiness and laughter with him wherever he went. A great storyteller, fishing partner and everyone’s favourite drinking buddy.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years Franca Bortolon, his sons Jamie Jr., John and Cory, grandchildren Damon and Desmarie, by his sisters, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Johnny and his sister Rosie. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
