Covid-19 (Jan 27): 3,680 new cases, ICU numbers continue to grow Published Modified27 Jan 2021, 12:34 pm A - COVID-19 | The Health Ministry today reported 3,680 new Covid-19 cases amidst much of the population entering their third week of movement control order (MCO) restrictions today. The number of precious intensive care beds used by Covid-19 patients reached a record high of 314 today with 122 people requiring ventilators to breathe. Leading indicators: Patients in ICU: 314 ↑ (34 more than the previous day, new record) Intubated patients: 122 ↑ (11 more than the previous day, new record) Deaths: 7 While the Klang Valley had the most number of new cases (41.6 percent), Johor was the state with the most number of cases followed by Sabah.
