Andrew Christie was elected at the company’s agm today.
Shareholders of NZX-listed Good Spirits Hospitality (GSH) have elected major shareholder Andrew Christie to the board and he hopes to get the bar company out of its current financing structure.
Previously known as Veritas Investments, Good Spirits owns The Better Bar Company, which runs eight bars in Auckland and one in Hamilton.
Christie is a director of major investor Christie Whiting Vermunt (CWV) which originally held an 18.6% stake, created when three investors combined shares they had acquired separately when Mad Butcher franchisor Michael Morton sold out in April.
CWV’s namesakes, Christie, Charles Whiting and Jake Vermunt, are all former investment bankers. ....
