The St. Cloud Rox won a back and forth game Tuesday night 9-8 at Joe Faber Field over the La Crosse Loggers in the Great Plains Championship game. Ben Vujovich drove in the game-winning run walking off the Loggers and sending St. Cloud to the Northwoods League Championship game.
The St. Cloud Rox overcame a 7-1 deficit in Willmar to beat the Stingers 8-7 and sweep the best of 3 Great Plains West Division series to advance to the Great Plains Championship game.
The Rox earned their 6th straight win and they completed a 2-game sweep of the Minot Hot Tots 2-1 Thursday night. The Rox fell behind 1-0 in the 3rd inning but scored 2 runs in the 6th inning to take the lead and that turned out to be enough to get the win.
The St. Cloud Rox held off Willmar to win 8-7 at home Tuesday night. The Rox surged to a 6-1 lead in the 4th inning. The Stingers scored 3 runs in the 5th inning, St. Cloud came back with single runs in the 6th and 7th innings before Willmar scored 3 runs in the 8th inning.
The St. Cloud Rox posted their 3rd straight win with a 3-2 victory over the La Crosse Loggers Wednesday night at Joe Faber Field. The Rox scored 1 run in the 2nd inning and 2 runs in the 4th inning.
